When does DreamGala launch?

DreamGala is currently in final review. Apple App Store and Google Play approvals are pending — we'll email the waitlist the day it goes live. Expect early access within the next few weeks.

How does the AI interpretation work?

DreamGala uses Groq's Llama 3.3 70B model — a fast, high-quality language model. The interpretation is grounded in Jungian symbolism, depth psychology, and cross-cultural dream traditions. You pick the depth: Surface (quick reads), Deep (full Jungian analysis), or Spiritual (mythological lens).

Is my data really private?

Yes. Dreams are encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device. A 6-digit passcode unlocks them; a 12-word BIP39 recovery phrase is your backup. Nothing syncs to the cloud unless you choose to export a backup. Dream text is sent to Groq for transcription/interpretation only when you tap interpret — and isn't stored by them.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

After the trial, basic dream capture stays free forever (you can keep logging dreams and viewing them). AI interpretation, voice transcription, Dream Universe, Lucid Training, and encrypted backup move behind the one-time £1.99 Pro unlock. No subscription. Pay once, keep forever.

Can I use DreamGala on multiple devices?

Yes. Export an encrypted backup from one device, restore it on another with your passcode. Once you're Pro, restore-purchase works across all your iOS or Android devices linked to your account.

What if I forget my passcode?

That's what the 12-word recovery phrase is for. During onboarding, DreamGala generates a BIP39 mnemonic — write it down and keep it somewhere safe. If you forget your passcode, enter the recovery phrase and set a new one. Your dreams come back intact.

Will there be a web version?

Mobile-first for V1 (iOS and Android). A web companion is on the roadmap, but the encryption architecture means it'll always be optional — your phone stays the source of truth.

Who built DreamGala?

DreamGala is built by a solo founder in the UK who wanted a private space for their own dreams — and found every alternative either subscription-trapped, cloud-stored, or full of "AI slop" interpretations. So they built something else. More about the project.
